OA-STUDIO is an Athens based architectural office founded in 2013 by Orestes Argiropoulos. The practice works on various scales ranging from commercial and hospitality buildings to residential and cultural interiors. Driven by curiosity, we find this an opportunity to experiment with scale, site and budget, by drawing novel connections between programmatic complexity, climatic conditions, materials and objects.
Every project is approached with enthusiasm, a concern for the client’s needs and an enquiring attitude towards the brief’s potential. We collaborate with other architects, engineers, craftsmen and creative agencies and we value research rooted in local expertise and materials.
The studio has a strong record of well executed workplace environments. Among recently completed projects, the offices of Accepted in Agia Paraskevi was awarded a distinction in Domes Greek architecture awards (2021).
In parallel to the practice’s work, Orestis Argiropoulos has worked as a teaching assistant at master's level at University of Thessaly, with Atelier Bow Wow (2014) and Lacaton & Vassal (2015).
